Rowan Rockhounds

The Pedal Factory is proud to have supported youth cycling through a NICA team for students, The Rowan Rockhounds.

While this was a competitive team in the past, we are now focused specifically on fun, camaraderie, boosting confidence, fitness and finding new adventures! Cycling is a lifelong recreational activity - all ages can enjoy biking together. Getting outdoors is important for mental and physical health; especially our youth who are more plugged in and often under more pressure than any other generation. Our aim is to provide a welcoming, fun environment where youth can enjoy cycling together, building friendships and confidence on and off the bike.

We are working on getting some fun activities put together but really need your help! Let us know if you are interested in organizing, sponsoring or coaching young people on local biking adventures!
