Let's Ride, Rowan!

"Let's Ride, Rowan!" is The Pedal Factory's initiative to get ALL of Rowan County moving on two wheels. Through a series of Saturday events, we'll be traveling around the county with our mobile workshop, bringing bike repair, learn to ride lessons, bike safety rodeos and family friendly group rides with us.

Our first event is scheduled for July 8th from 9 am - 12 pm at Essie Academy (507 W Innes St, Salisbury). This free event is open to the entire community! All ages and levels are welcome. Beginners can try balance bikes with the help of our crew. Got a busted up bike? Bring it by and we'll repair (what we can do on the go - more intensive repairs may need to be left with us!). Seasoned riders can try increasing their skills on our bike obstacle course. It's fun for kids and adults alike. Test your safety skills, and join us for a family friendly group ride.

What to bring:

Your bike (if you have one)

Your Helmet (if you have one)

A good attitude!

We'll have a few bikes on hand to borrow for both kids and adults. Helmet giveaway to first 25 participants. All minors must have a parent/guardian signed waiver to participate in riding activities.
