Fall at the Pedal Factory

It's feeling a little like summer is on its way out at the shop. We aren't sweating quite as much and some days we even forget to turn on the fans!! It's quite nice. While COVID continues to be a concern, we've managed to keep the shop running and keep our staff safe. Please do your part by masking if unvaccinated, and respecting work spaces. We're fortunate to have a few great volunteers who keep our shop clean and sanitary.

We've got a few things coming up in addition to regular shop hours. Check out the cool rides, events and opportunities to get involved!

Oct. 3: Candidates Ride - Riding from Hurley Park at 2 pm, or Bell Tower Green at 4 pm. Or both. An opportunity to converse with local candidates about their platforms and how they will put active transportation on their agenda. Check back for details on the route or visit us on social media.

Oct. 8: Fix - It Friday - Help us build and repair bikes. Helpful to have mechanical knowledge, but for those who are inexperienced, there's always cleaning of bikes and parts to be done. 5:30 pm - 8 pm. Pizza provided.

Oct. 10: Tweed Ride - Don your dapper duds, mount your trusty vintage steed, and cruise the historic homes of OctoberTour with us. 11 am. Meet at TPF.

Oct. 29: Witches Ride - Let's Ride, Witches!! Calling all our spooky citizens -  Let's scare up some good fun - pedaling from the shop at 6 pm. Dress in your witchy best... costume prizes for funny, scary and creative, plus door prizes for all participants. Ride length 4 miles, family friendly pace.

Stay tuned for more announcements. We'll organize Cranksgiving Rides, Christmas Light Rides, and more in the coming months.
